Founded in 2007 by architect Mehmet Fehmi Bilge, BLG Architecture and Consultancy is an Istanbul-based architectural practice with a focus on interior spaces designed for collective use—offices, clinics, educational settings, and beyond. Our work is rooted in clarity, precision, and the belief that good design should quietly support the people who use it.
We approach every project with a holistic mindset. While our primary focus lies in interiors, many of our commissions call for broader architectural decisions—whether rethinking circulation, optimizing structural elements, or aligning spatial flow with real-world needs. This expanded scope allows us to work with a full architectural awareness, even when the design begins at the scale of a room.
Rather than adhering to a rigid visual style, we prioritize adaptable and honest solutions. Our projects are designed to evolve—leaving space for users to inhabit and reinterpret them over time. From the overall plan down to the smallest material junction or signage element, each part is considered as a piece of the larger whole.
We continue to refine our approach by staying close to material innovations, design trends, and emerging technologies. Not confining by 2D still images, we utilize 3D animations and VR-supported presentations to enhance spatial understanding and communication throughout the design process.
